HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy. We support HOPE worldwide through the local subsidiary, HOPE worldwide, Mid-Atlantic.

HOPE MID-ATLANTIC

Saturday Academy Program:  Fall and Spring Semesters of the Saturday Academy Program at Rock Creek Terrace Apartments (Rockville, MD) typically start in September and February, respectively.  Past and current classes include (but not limited to):  art, cooking, dance, healthy snacks, self-esteem, sports, and theatre.  Volunteers are needed to teach students in 1st - 6th grade.  Instructors and coordinators needed as well.   

Youth Leadership Program:  Facilitators are needed for the Youth Leadership Program - to work with young teens at Rock Creek Terrace Apartments (Rockville, MD).  This Group meets on Saturdays during the Saturday Academy Program.  Experience working with older middle school and young teens is desired.
