Prayer Requests

These are prayer requests submitted to the church via the announcement sheet and website. Please take a moment to keep them in your prayers. We also have a section for "Answered Prayers" to be able to allow members to tell us how God has answered their individual prayers. In order to view these, you will need to login.

• June 2010:  Our final collection for our annual Special Missions Contribution is coming up this month!  Please continue contributing what God has placed on your hearts (2Cor 8-9), as we are looking to financially contribute to the work done for our sister congregations in India and Cameroon.
• April 2008 - current
  Manuel Vivas (Luis Vivas' father) had a stroke a few months ago.  With many prayers, he has been making improvements and getting better. He is currently in a nursing home in Silver Spring, MD.  Please pray for his brain to recover from the severe stroke he recently had.  Since the stroke, his memory has been impaired, and his clarity in thought hindered more than before.  He has several health problems:  Parkinson's, dementia/Alzheimer's, high blood pressure, nerve damage (that makes him suffer severe pain), Atrial Fibrillation (the condition which most likely led to his stroke), and his border-line diabetes.  My father is only 63.  All of your support is very welcome and very much needed.  Fortunately, he has been baptized into Christ despite all these challenges!  Please continue to pray for him.  Contact Luis Vivas (240-479-9124) for details on Manuel and/or opportunities to visit him.
