Ministries

We are a family that believes in meeting each others needs to help everyone grow where they're at in life. Here are some of the ministries we have formed to help serve each other and the church.

Benevolence -- To reach out to those within the church family and in our community and be the face of Jesus to those who are in need, on a financial level as well as through counseling and referrals, led by Virdin Barzey (301) 916-0359

Campus -- Aimed at meeting the needs of the students of the many colleges and universities in our area, led by Andy Blocker (301) 776-9517

Children's Ministry -- Provides teaching, arts & crafts, and encouragement to our children's bible classes, led by Alwin Kelly (410) 381-7374

Children's Resources -- Aimed at helping parents better meet the spiritual needs of their kids, led by Jamie Blietz (301) 933-8192

Chemical Recovery -- Focused on providing members support and helping them overcome current or past chemical dependencies, led by Raphael Dirden (301) 668-8962

Communion -- Serves the congregation by providing communion every Sunday, led by Barbara Marbury (301) 408-1022

Hospitality/Welcome -- For welcoming new move-ins and members, and keeping others in special situations encouraged and included, led by Darren Jackson (301) 490-4042

High School and Parents -- Helping to meet the spiritual needs of high school students and their parents, led by Ruben & Barbara Marbury (301) 408-1022

Middle School -- Focused on having fun in a spiritual environment, led by Drs. Tom & Miki Darling (301) 762-4697

Music -- Focused on helping musicians (full or part time) stay spiritually focused. Also provides vocal and instrumental worship music for worship services, led by Gerald Leonard (301) 260-9775

Singles -- Focused on meeting the needs of our single brothers and sisters, led by Henry & Holli Rivera (301) 530-6320

Single Parents -- Helps to meet the special needs of single parents in our fellowship, led by Leonel and Anissa Jonathas (301) 926-0643

Sound -- Provides sound support for worship services, led by Minh Do (240) 354-8410

Spanish -- Aimed at meeting the needs of our spanish-speaking members, led by Max & Judy Barragan - 301-972-5881
